On Episode 31 of Well, Then, I dive into conversation with my friend and fellow wellness professional Katrina Wright. We talk about her journey to self-acceptance and self-love, challenges she's faced and overcome, and how she envisions the food industry changing for the better. This is a real, raw and honest conversation with a young woman who is making big waves and being unapologetically herself in an industry full of comparison and competition. Katrina shares how she grew and built her social platform as well as an online women's support community that is one of the most empowering and encouraging groups of people I have seen on the internet. Tune in to hear the rest of her story!

Wednesday Nov 06, 2019
This is without a doubt one of my favorite interviews that I've had the pleasure of doing on the show.
Dr. Will Cole, leading functional-medicine expert, specializes in clinically investigating underlying factors of chronic disease and customizing health programs for thyroid issues, autoimmune conditions, hormonal dysfunctions, digestive disorders, and brain problems. Dr. Cole was named one of the top fifty functional-medicine and integrative doctors in the nation and is a health expert for mindbodygreen and goop. He is the author of the new book, The Inflammation Spectrum in which he explores how inflammation exists on a spectrum within the body, the various systems it can affect, and how you can discover your individual food triggers to overcome chronic inflammation.
We cover so much valuable information and practical guidance for how you can reduce inflammation in your body, and why it's important to do so.

Ep. 26: Letting Go Of Comparison and Busting Common Yoga Myths with Amina Taha
Thursday Oct 24, 2019
Thursday Oct 24, 2019
On episode 26 of Well, Then, I have the pleasure of chatting with the lovely Amina Taha. I first met Amina when I took her yoga class in NYC, and immediately fell in love with her sweet and welcoming disposition (not to mention her stunning yoga practice). What struck me most about her story is that she didn't have a dance or yoga background, and actually didn't start yoga until her late 20's. And yet when you watch her, you can't help but be mesmerized by the graceful beauty with which she glides into advances asanas.
Amina shares about her yoga journey and some of the common misconceptions from non-yogis or newer practitioners, as well as how yoga truly is for everybody. We also chat about how her practice has changed as a mom, taking yoga in other languages, and how social media has changed yoga.

Ep. 23: Nutrition For Growing Healthier, Longer, Stronger Hair
Tuesday Oct 08, 2019
Tuesday Oct 08, 2019
This solo episode of Well, Then is a deeper diver into the power of holistic nutrition and how it helped my hair re-grow.
Stress, inflammation, poor nutrition, hormone imbalance, and malabsorption are all really common reasons why someone might have issues with the health of their hair. It wasn’t that I started taking miracle hair gummy vitamins or just started wearing extensions to cover up the thinning (my hair is all mine, and the only time I’ve ever worn extensions was on stage for a couple of my fitness competitions). The solution was much less glamorous and less simple than that.
It took years of combining proper nutrition, supplementation, meditation, stress-management, holistic products, sleep hygiene, hormone balancing and patience before my hair got to a place where it felt really good again. In this episode I dive into some of the foods, supplements and self-care practices that helped my hair & health journey, and recommendations for you too.
