About Susan:
After 14 years working on Wall Street in New York, Susan turned to Vedic Meditation to find resilience in the chaos. The practice was so effective in quickly eliminating stress and overwhelm in her life that she left the corporate world to study and teach full time.
In 2017, after two years of study and immersing herself in a 12-week training program in India with Thom Knoles, Susan was inducted as a Vedic Meditation teacher in the highest order.
Today, Susan loves teaching people with big lives and watching their busyness shift from ‘a grind’ to an enjoyable, fulfilling adventure.
She now teaches courses and leads retreats in Austin, New York, Los Angeles, and Hawaii.

On today's episode, we sit down with Dr. Amy Neuzil, who specializes in MTHFR gene variations. Amy has been helping people since 2003. She ran an integrated wellness center in Austin, TX, taught at both the masters and doctoral levels, and co-hosted a number of radio shows. She currently host the To Health With That! podcast and an amazing community called Genetic Rockstars for MTHFR folks to connect, share stories, and become better.
Amy is a mom and a wife and she’s an overmethylator who writes novels and makes her own soap.
This conversation with Amy was really special, because it was right at the beginning of my journey of finally getting diagnosed and understanding what was going on in my body. Before I received my chronic Lyme diagnosis, I found out about my MTHFR variation. It was so supportive to learn more about methylation and chat with Amy about various things that could help. It was truly the beginning of my path to healing, and I'm so grateful to finally be sharing our conversation!
