In episode 58, I interview Sabrina Kippur, the founder of Juice And Salt, a NYC based juice company.
Sabrina has worked in the healthcare sector in several capacities throughout her career: pharmaceutical advertising, nonprofit fundraising for hospitals and community health practices and Pilates instruction. Her career has been dedicated to improving the health of others, and her trajectory from advertising to Pilates instruction has allowed her to have an increasingly more direct impact on others’ health. Sabrina holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, a master of science in fundraising and grant-making from New York University and a Pilates certification from the Kane School of Core Integration.
Sabrina’s career experience and years of illness have given her significant knowledge of best practices for living with chronic inflammation and disease. As a Pilates instructor, Sabrina has taught extensively in the chronic illness community, including those with neurodegenerative and rheumatological diseases, and connective tissue disorders, as well.

It's no secret that I love meditation and am a huge advocate for all the many ways that it can improve your mental health. Meditation has had a huge impact on my life, especially following the traumatic brain injury I sustained at age 22. But I often hear resistance from people who are new to meditation about whether it's right for them and where to even begin. There are actually several different styles of meditation, and each one will resonate with different people for different reasons. In this episode, I break down many of the the major types of meditation and what they're about so you can make the best decision for your practice. When Sarah Clark was 28 years old, she received a diagnosis of premature ovarian failure. She accepted the diagnosis and had both her children through in vitro fertilization. Years later she realized the root cause of her infertility was a food sensitivity and later a gut infection.
She is a certified life coach with accreditation from the International Coaches Federation and a health coach with training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
She is the author of Fabulously Fertile - Supercharge your Fertility Naturally. Her fertility coaching program, which includes functional lab testing, supports couples to make diet and lifestyle changes that dramatically improve the chances of a healthy pregnancy and baby!

Nidhi Pandya is a third generation Ayurvedic practitioner and has studied directly from the Sanskrit Samhitas, the oldest available texts on the subject. So if you are interested in learning more about these ancient principles of health and wellness, it's safe to say that she is a reliable and extremely knowledgable source.
Nidhi uses Ayurvedic principles to take people on a Journey of self discovery over a period of a few months. Of really getting to know the insides of their bodies as well as they know the colors of their hair, the size of their clothes or the texture of their skin. Only then can they filter through all the information in the health world today and pick what serves them best.
